Dragster Amusement Ride

This ride propels riders up to 65 mph in under 5 seconds, simulating a drag race. The mechanical and structural design was verified by POL-X West using ALGOR FEA analysis and 3-D CAD Software.  This included analysis of the tubular space frame of the vehicle, pneumatic and mechanical systems of the primary and emergency braking systems, and specific studies on various components to improve reliability and service life.  Extensive Field Tests were also carried out on the completed ride, including acceleration and primary and emergency braking deceleration tests.
